Dress Uniform
Army Officers on horseback in Dress Uniforms
The Dress Uniform features a coloured jacket reflecting the branch of service the wearer belongs to, with silver Naval and Marine jackets, red Army jackets, olive Judge Advocate General's Command jackets, and blue Peacekeeper Command jackets.
The Dress Uniform calls for the wearing of full medals and commendations, as well as aiguillette. The cocked hat of the General Service Uniform is retained, although the cocked hat in the Dress Uniform may feature plumage and other awarded decorations in their complete form.
The Mk. I Officer's Inertron Sabre or the universally issued Mk. I Inertron Sword Bayonet is worn with this uniform as a matter of course. For the purposes of safety, however, these swords are often treated with a spray solution designed to temporarily thicken their monomolecular edges into conventional sword edges before they are used in ceremonial duties.
